This kit has all the supplies needed to start testing, except the antigen and a 60-watt bulb.
 
The one-inch-square etched testing plate comes wrapped in a blue protective coating, which is removed before use.   The white opaque testing plate evenly distributes light, making it easy to distinguish between a negative and a positive blood sample.  
 
The testing unit is lightweight but sturdy, making it easy to clean after use.
