It is also an antiprotozoal, antiparasitic medication used to treat Tritrichomonas foetus (a single-celled parasite that commonly infects the gastrointestinal tract of cats).
 
Pigeon Treatment dosage:1 tablet a day for 3 days straight for treatment. 
Pigeon Preventive dosage: 1 tablet every 2 weeks.
